The switches for the OP1 mice are hot-swappable, meaning you can easily swap them out without any soldering required.
Stock switches:
- OP1: Kailh GX 60-65gf
- OP1 8k: Kailh GX 55-60gf
- OP1 8k Purple Frost: Kailh GX 50-55gf
Check out our OP1 Switch Packs.
All of our switches are SPDT. However, the switches in the OP1 and OP1 RGB don't use the top contact. Only the Kailh GX, Zippy, and HNCHK switches are GX compatible.
The OP1we uses optical switches. This means they use light to detect actuation, offering faster response times and greater durability. Users have the option to swap to the lighter Kailh GO 60-65gf switches.
Unfortunately, hot-swapping the switches for the XM1 or XM2 series is not possible.
