If you've been asked to provide a video recording for troubleshooting, don't worry—it's quick and easy. Just follow the steps below.
How to make a good recording: Using your camera, start by showing the bottom of the mouse so we can read the serial number. Then hold the mouse near your screen so both the mouse and the issue are visible in the same shot. Please show the problem clearly.
What won't work: Blurry photos, screen recordings, unclear angles, or pictures of the box. The video must clearly show your mouse, the serial number, and the issue in one continuous recording.
For scroll wheel, clicking, or button issues, using a dedicated mouse testing tool can make it easier to clearly demonstrate the problem. A quick web search for a mouse click tester or mouse scroll wheel tester should provide several options.
While not required, these tools often make issues easier to identify and troubleshoot than recordings taken during normal gameplay, where the symptoms can be difficult to see or verify.
For tracking or sensor issues, try reproducing the problem with fast flicks or wide mouse movements. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STh3I97u4Ko
After capturing the footage, upload it to a service such as YouTube, Imgur, or Google Drive and share the link with us, or attach the video directly if possible.
